Loring Heights Real Estate
Loring Heights is a small and cozy Atlanta neighborhood that aims to bring history, nature and modern living together in one place. The neighborhood sits between Northside Drive and Peachtree Street, and is proximate to similar neighborhoods Buckhead and Midtown.
This bustling community takes pride in the following qualities and features that have kept Loring Heights residents staying for good:
Quaint and nature-centric atmosphere
Loring Heights has just around 300 houses inside its tree-lined neighborhood. Residents are treated to lush greens surrounding the community where they can just bask in nature’s goodness. One of the well-known attractions in the neighborhood is Loring Heights Park, a small open space with a duck pond and swing porches. You may bring your family or friends to the park for a picnic or grill. Another open space that you can visit is the Tanyard Creek Greenspace, which features wheelchair-friendly pathways and secure dog areas.
Many of the houses in Loring Heights are bungalows. Don’t worry if you like another type of housing structure because the neighborhood has development plans for in-town housing.
Accessibility to city life
While many people have come to love the nature aspect of Loring Heights, others long for a more vibrant urban living. Fortunately, Loring Heights is at a walking distance to nearby commercial districts in Atlantic Station, Buckhead and Midtown. Office spaces are also in nearby neighborhoods, and many of them are accessible from Loring Heights through expressways and buses.
Rich history
Loring Heights is chock full of historical memorabilia within the neighborhood. The neighborhood got its name from Brigadier-General William Wing Loring, an officer of the Confederate States Provisional Army. Visit Loring’s Hill on Trabert Avenue to learn more about our contribution to American history.
Loring Heights successfully marries these three elements – scenic views, historical memories, and urban way of life – into a single neighborhood.
